Yokohama Kagura Experience “Yamagata”(*) Team Challenge

Experience, kagura, a traditional performing art, at Yokohama Noh Theater, as a free trial tour sponsored by Yokohama City Visitors Bureau. This program includes free entry to a kagura performance as well as the chance to try your hand at this exciting performing art.

By participating in this tour, you can contribute to keeping long-standing traditional culture alive.

(*)“Yamagata” is a mountain-shaped sword posture in Kagura and Kabuki, originating from martial arts.

2. YOKOHAMA CRAFT BEER BIKE TOUR

Capacity 12 participants total (6 participants x 2 groups)
Participation Fee JPY 10,000 per person (tax included)

Tour Format

One Beer Bike will be used for two groups of six participants. The two groups will rotate between the brewery experience and the Beer Bike ride.

  • Group A: Brewery Tour & Beer Tasting -> Beer Bike Ride
  • Group B: Beer Bike Ride -> Brewery Tour & Beer Tasting

Each group consists of six participants, allowing all participants to ride the Beer Bike.

Tour Program

  1. Meet in front of the entrance to Yokohama Hammerhead (near the light-blue food truck)
  2. Tour and route briefing (Approx. 5 minutes)
  3. NUMBER NINE BREWERY - Brewery tour and tasting of three craft beers (Approx. 30 minutes)
  4. Restroom break (Approx. 5 minutes)
  5. Beer Bike boarding preparation and safety briefing (Approx. 10 minutes)
  6. Beer Bike ride (Approx. 30 minutes)

Beer Bike Route

Yokohama Hammerhead -> Cup Noodles Museum -> Ferris Wheel area / short break -> Yokohama World Porters -> Yokohama Hammerhead

  • Commemorative photo in front of the Beer Bike (Approx. 10 minutes)
  • Tour concludes

Note: For Group B, the order will be reversed: Beer Bike Ride -> Brewery Tour & Beer Tasting.

English-Speaking Guide

One English-speaking guide is planned to assist with participant reception, tour guidance, explanations during the brewery visit, and support until participants board the Beer Bike.
The guide will not ride on the Beer Bike and will support both groups according to the tour schedule.

3. Yokohama Geisha Experience at Tanakaya

Enjoy a special cultural experience at Tanakaya, one of Yokohama’s historic traditional Japanese restaurants, combining authentic Japanese cuisine with a performance by Yokohama Geisha.

Participants will meet at PACIFICO Yokohama and travel by taxi to Tanakaya. In its elegant traditional Japanese setting, you will enjoy a seasonal Japanese lunch while experiencing traditional entertainment performed by Yokohama Geisha, including song and dance.

The program also includes an opportunity to interact with the geisha and take commemorative photos. It is a unique chance to experience Yokohama’s long-established ryotei culture and traditional Japanese hospitality.

  • Please arrive at the designated meeting point at PACIFICO Yokohama by 11:30.
  • The group is scheduled to depart at 11:45. Participants who arrive after departure may not be able to join the program.
