The Japanese Society on Surgery for Cerebral Stroke (hereinafter referred to as the "Society" or the "Organizer") has established the following privacy policy for the handling of personal information in connection with The 18th Korea-Japan Joint Conference on Surgery for Cerebral
Stroke (KJJC2026, hereinafter referred to as the "Conference"). and is committed to protecting the personal information entrusted to the aforementioned Society.
With respect to any such personal information received, the Organizer shall endeavor to take reasonable measures to prevent its disclosure to third parties, or its destruction, tampering, or loss. (However, personal information disclosed by the provider and already publicly available is not subject to management by the Organizer.)
By registering for any activities of the Conference, submitting an abstract or applying for sponsorship opportunities, you agree to the following personal information policy regarding the processing of personal information you provide as part of your registration, submission or application.

- Purpose of Use of Personal Information
The Organizer shall use personal information within the scope of the following:
(1) For the preparation and operation of the Conference.
(2) To respond to inquiries and requests from contracted Conference service providers and for operational communications.
(3) Other purposes for which the individual concerned has been notified in advance and has provided consent. - Purpose of Use of Specific Personal Information (as defined under applicable Japanese laws)
In the event that the handling of specific personal information is required, it shall only be used to carry out filing obligations as required by the relevant laws and regulations and shall not be retained continuously after the end of the purpose of its use. - Provision to Third Parties
Personal information may be used or disclosed for purposes other than those described above in any of the following cases:
(1) When required by law. (e.g., when it is necessary to protect the life, body, or property of a person or other serious interests, or when cooperating with a government organization, local government body, etc., in the performance of their duties)
(2) When the provider has given consent.
(3) When the handling of personal data is outsourced in whole or in part to the extent necessary to achieve the business purpose.
(4) When the data is provided to the extent necessary to conduct the Society’s business. - Requests for Disclosure of Personal Information Disclosure of personal information (notification of the purpose of use, or for disclosure, correction, supplementation, deletion, cessation of use, removal, or cessation of provision to a third party) may only be undertaken upon confirmation that the request is made by the relevant individual.
