Michael D. Devous (Imaging, Avid Radiopharmaceuticals, USA)
  2. Tau imaging in typical and atypical Alzheimer’s disease
Pedro Rosa-Neto (Neurology, Neurosurgery, Psychiatry and Pharmacology, McGill University, Canada)
  3. The Centiloid Strategy for Standardization of Amyloid and Tau PET
Christopher C. Rowe (Molecular Imaging, University of Melbourne and Austin Health, Australia)
  4. The role of tau imaging agents in Alzheimer’s Disease and non-Alzheimer’s tauopathies
Andrew W. Stephens (Research and Development, Life-Molecular Imaging, Germany)
  5. Tau PET imaging with PM-PBB3
Makoto Higuchi (National Institutes for Quantum and Radiological Science and Technology, Japan)

Aims

Although reimbursement was rejected again by the Japanese authorities, amyloid PET plays an essential role in pathophysiological research and therapeutic drug development for Alzheimer’s disease. So does tau PET, for which many PET drugs are also being developed. This symposium features topics and recent findings of amyloid and tau PET by investigators worldwide for the usefulness and characteristics of each PET drug.
