Spine Week Japan 2026 (SWJ2026) is the spine-specific conference in Japan.

Abstract Submission Guidelines

All abstracts must be submitted via the online abstract submission form.
Submitted abstracts must be prepared in accordance with the following instructions.

• Abstracts must be written in English.
• The title of the abstract is limited to 140 characters
• Abstracts may include charts and graphics.
  - Without charts or graphics, the text of the abstract is limited to 1,600 characters.
  - With charts or graphics, the text of the abstract is limited to 1,000 characters.
• Please select the academic society you wish to apply to.

Disclosure of Conflict of Interest (COI)

To ensure transparency of the clinical research partnerships between industry and academia, and in SWJ2026 presentations, all presenters are expected to disclose any "conflict of interest" (COI) at SWJ2026. All COI matters that have occurred within three years of the abstract submission and up to the time of the presentation must be disclosed.

Notification of Acceptance/Rejection

The President of SWJ2026 will consider the abstract category preferences of authors but reserves the right to assign abstract categories and to make final abstract acceptance/rejection decisions.
