Objective

• To encourage the participation of medical residents and medical students in the field of radiology.

Awards

• 1st Prize: Certificate, JPY 50,000 prize, and complimentary registration for the next Annual Meeting.
• 2nd Prize: Certificate, JPY 30,000 prize, and complimentary registration for the next Annual Meeting.
• 3rd Prize: Certificate, JPY 10,000 prize, and complimentary registration for the next Annual Meeting.
• Finalists: Complimentary registration for the next Annual Meeting.

Eligibility: Applicants must meet all of the following criteria

• Be the first author of a General Case Report presentation on a topic related to radiology.
• The submitted case report must not have received an award at any domestic conference in Japan at the time of abstract submission.
• At the time of abstract submission, be a medical resident, medical student, or recent medical school graduate in Japan.

How to Apply

• Select “Apply for Medical Trainee Excellent Case Exhibit Awards” during the online submission process for Case Report Exhibit.
• Applicants who pass the first-round review must submit their final electronic poster (CyPos) for the presentation. (Note: Case Report Exhibits do not have an oral presentation component).

Selection Process

1. First-round Review: Reviewers will score the submitted abstracts to select the accepted exhibits.
2. Second-round Review: Reviewers will evaluate the final submitted electronic poster (CyPos) for the Case Report Exhibit to select the award winners.

Notes

• Submission of more than one abstract by the same author is permitted.
• For exceptionally high-quality abstracts, the organizing committee may recommend that the author submit a second-round abstract and apply for the award.
• Duplicate publication is permissible under certain conditions.
