Call for Applications for the CyPos Award (Best Educational Presentation Awards)
Objective
- To encourage educational activities in the field of radiology.
Awards
- Certificate, JPY 10,000 gift certificate, and complimentary registration for the next Annual Meeting (approx. 10 recipients).
Eligibility: Applicants must meet all of the following criteria
- Be the first author of a General Educational Exhibit related to radiology.
- The presentation content must not have received an award at any domestic conference in Japan at the time of abstract submission.
- As of April 10, 2026, be a regular member of the Japan Radiological Society (JRS), a medical resident, a medical student or recent graduate, or an international student affiliated with a research institution in Japan.
- Have paid JRS membership fees up to the fiscal year 2025 (not applicable to medical residents, medical students, and international students).
How to Apply
- Select “Apply for the CyPos Award (Best Educational Presentation Awards)” during the online submission process for General Educational Exhibits.
- Applicants who pass the first-round review must submit their final CyPos (electronic poster) for the presentation. (Note: General Educational Exhibits do not have an oral presentation component).
Selection Process
- First-round Review: Reviewers will score the submitted abstracts to select the accepted exhibits.
- Second-round Review: Reviewers will evaluate the final submitted CyPos (electronic posters) for the General Educational Exhibits to select the award winners.
- Award Ceremony: During the Award Ceremony session.
Notes
- Submission of more than one abstract by the same author is permitted.
- For exceptionally high-quality abstracts, the organizing committee may recommend that the author submit a second-round abstract and apply for the award.
- Duplicate publication is permissible under certain conditions. Please refer to the “Duplicate Submission Policy” on the JRS website for details.
