II. Academic Meeting Questionnaire

To be eligible to run for the position of Councilor, members must have attended at least two academic meetings during the past four years and must have completed the questionnaire for at least one of the academic meetings they attended.
For the next Councilor election, the applicable meetings will be the 77th through 80th Academic Meetings. Please take note of this requirement.
The questionnaire can be completed through the members-only page. We encourage not only those who are planning to run for Councilor, but all members to complete the questionnaire.
Your feedback will help us make future academic meetings even better. We greatly appreciate your cooperation.

III. Recommendation of Papers

We kindly ask the Chairs to recommend outstanding presentations from the 79th Academic Meeting (General Oral Presentations).
The authors of the recommended presentations will subsequently be contacted by the Editorial Office and invited to develop their presentations into Original Articles for submission to the Society's journal, General Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery, with the aim of further enhancing the quality of the journal.
Please note that although these papers will be invited by the Editorial Office, they will undergo the journal's standard peer-review process in accordance with its editorial policies.

IV. Electronic Abstract Service

At this academic meeting, an electronic service will be available that allows you to search presentations and create your own schedule.
You can bookmark sessions you want to attend and check them in a list for easy reference.
Detailed instructions on how to use the service will be provided on the official website at a later date.

V. Hospitality Space and Exhibitions

Hospitality spaces and corporate exhibition booths will be open at the venue.
Each company has prepared a variety of exhibits and activities. We encourage you to stop by and take a look!

VI. Co-sponsored Seminars

Luncheon Seminars
A free ticket is required to attend a Luncheon Seminar.
Tickets can be obtained at the designated distribution area on the day of the seminar.
Ticket distribution will end once the capacity has been reached.
Ticket holders should collect their boxed lunch and seminar materials at the reception desk in front of each seminar room before entering the venue.
Please note that tickets will become invalid 5 minutes after the scheduled start of the Luncheon Seminar.
