Important notice
We sincerely apologize for the long silence since we have notified the 33rd Annual Meeting of the Japan Society for Endoscopic Surgery in the beginning of June 2020. Due to concerns over the spread of Coronavirus worldwide, we regretfully announce the cancellation of WCES 2020 held in Japan. The World Congress of Endoscopic Surgery in Japan will be re-scheduled after the year of 2024. Otherwise ELSA 2020 will be held online in September 2020. The detail will be announced by the international headquarters of ELSA in Singapore.
We once again apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.
We are looking forward to the day when the spread of the COVID-19 settles down and we can meet again in March 2021.

Announcement: New Conference Date for JSES
March 10 (Wednesday) ~ March13 (Saturday), 2021
In light of the recent concerns about the Coronavirus COVID-19, and considering the health, wellbeing and safety of all the participants from both overseas and domestic, with countless discussions, we came to conclusion that The 33rd Annual Meeting of the Japan Society for Endoscopic Surgery (JSES) will be postponed and will be held from March 10~13, 2021, at PACIFICO YOKOHAMA, Japan. For WCES and ELSA congress, schedules and details are currently under adjustments. Mindful of this, we will be at our best effort, preparing to aim for our newly set congress dates, and arrangements. Further details will be announced at this website shortly once it has been organized.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience cause to all members and attendees. Thank you very much for your continuous support, and kind understanding. We look forward to seeing you and we sincerely pray that we all will remain in good health, and safe.
