General Guidelines

  • The body of abstracts should contain a maximum of 350 words and must be submitted in English.
  • Chart and graphics cannot be included in the abstract.
  • Please make sure to disclose COI (conflict of interest) at your presentation.
  • All abstracts must be submitted online via this official congress website. Please click on the “Abstract Submission” button to access the abstract submission form. (Abstracts sent by Fax or e-mail will not be accepted.)
  • Confirmation of your abstract submission will be sent to your registered e-mail address after submission completion. If you do not receive the confirmation, it indicates that your submission was incomplete and you need to contact to the secretariat of this congress.   • It is the responsibility of the corresponding author = first author to review his/her own submitted abstract and correct it by the abstract submission deadline. The corresponding author = first author is responsible for any typing errors in the abstract.
  • Modifications / cancellation can be made up until the abstract submission deadline. Modification and cancellation shall not be allowed over the abstract submission deadline.
  • All abstracts accepted for the Asian Association of Pediatric Surgeons (AAPS) 2026 are eligible for publication in the Pediatric Surgery International AAPS Issue for the year 2026. For details, please refer to the "Pediatric Surgery International" in the journal or the PSI Submission Guidelines on the website of the Asian Association of Pediatric Surgeons (AAPS) 2026.
    As this congress is being held jointly with the JSPS, please be sure to follow the submission guidelines when submitting to PSI. Depending on the congress with which you registered your abstract (JSPS or AAPS), please submit your manuscript accordingly

  1. Workshop on Congenital Biliary Dilatation: How to Diagnose and How to Treat

    Session Summary
    This workshop aims to share practical knowledge and techniques regarding the diagnosis and treatment of congenital biliary dilatation (CBD).
    We welcome abstract submissions on a wide range of topics, including imaging diagnostics, surgical procedures, perioperative management, and postoperative outcomes.

Travel Grant

Surgeons from overseas under 40 years at the end of the congress who submit abstracts, as well as manuscripts for consideration for publication into PSI, the official journal of the Asian Association of Pediatric Surgeons, can apply for the travel grant by the Abstract Submission Form. The maximum number of grants available is 10, and each grant will be worth 100,000 JPY. For more detailed information, please read the section on Travel Grant.

  • After registering your abstract, you will receive confirmation by e-mail with your login ID and password codes.
  • We cannot inform you of your password and ID for security reasons. Please print out the website after your registration.
  • If you wish to make any corrections to your abstract already submitted or wish to delete it, please click “Modification” button to conduct procedure.

Notification of Acceptance

  • Notification of Acceptance will be currently scheduled to the corresponding author in March 2026.
  • Please leave the decision on acceptance or rejection, presentation format, and classification of presentation to the president of this congress. Notification of acceptance or rejection will be sent to the e-mail address you entered when submitting your abstract.

Attention

  • The first author must be corresponding author. A maximum of 15 co-author’s names can be included and will appear on the printed materials in the submitted order.
  • This abstract submission system works only with the following browsers: Internet Explorer, Firefox, Google Chrome and Safari (ver. 2.0.3 (471.9.2) or later). Please do not use other browsers for abstract submission.
  • The first author is responsible for getting agreements from co-authors before submission.
  • After the submission period, any change and addition of abstract content cannot be accepted.
  • Any submitted abstracts will not be edited or proof-read before officially publishing them. The first author is responsible for his/her abstract.
