ICAS 12 goes virtual!

We are pleased to announce that ICAS 12 will offer the opportunity to share your valuable work with the ICAS community in a virtual format. This new format is an exciting new experiential adventure for ICAS and we strive to provide a valuable experience for all virtual attendees.

ICAS’s first-ever virtual meeting is expected to bring together over 1.500 international participants from over 65 countries from all continents to exchange ideas, discuss innovative and emerging fields of studies, and develop collaborations in the field of Asian Studies. Contributions are not only limited to scholars, but also to knowledge practitioners including craftsmen/women, artists, urban planners, architects, policymakers, civic leaders, journalists, librarians, museum professionals, etc.

The benefits of virtual participation

Join us from around the world!
We are preparing an online programme of talks, discussions and interactive elements. We aim to offer the virtual participants multiple networking and research exchange opportunities, options to join the debate, browse the e-poster presentations, visit the virtual Asian Studies Exhibitor Gallery and participate in virtual (cultural) activities. More detailed information on the virtual conference platform will follow soon. Instructional videos and guidelines for the platform will be published well ahead of the upcoming ICAS 12.
