We hope you are all doing well.
It is a great honor for us to host the EMS ASIA Tokyo 2023 conference. The main theme of the conference is to rebuild the EMS Asia network that was disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic to promote research, education, and clinical practice in prehospital care across Asia after the coronary pandemic, and to use digital technology to promote the resumption of activities at the EMS ASIA Tokyo conference. We expect that this will be a good opportunity. The conference was initially scheduled to take place in 2020 but had to be postponed due to the outbreak of the corona pandemic. However, after carefully considering the recent COVID-19 outbreak and vaccination status, we decided to hold the conference in November 2023.
The meeting will be held at the Bunkyo-Ku Civic Hall in Bunkyo-Ku, Tokyo, on November 29 (business meeting day), 30, and December 1, 2023. In addition, we plan to use a Zoom system with face-to-face meetings on the exact dates of the Japanese Society of Emergency Medicine, which is scheduled to be held at the Korakuen Dome City Hotel. Please note that COVID-19 infection is still ongoing, but we have already made it possible for individual countries to visit us so we will take this form.
The meeting will include a Keynote Lecture by the President of EMS Asia, a Presidential Address, JAAM joint symposium, Symposium, panel discussions, poster sessions, and various seminars. We hope you will join us.
Tokyo will be a little cooler in November, but it is also an excellent time to enjoy the beautiful autumn leaves. After the heated discussions at the conference venue, we hope to have a great time talking with each other in the deep autumn. I hope you will all be able to join us.
