Biography
Yuichi Hirose, M.D., Ph.D. graduated from Keio University School of Medicine, Tokyo, Japan, in 1987. Following clinical training in neurosurgery, he conducted research at the National Institute of Neuroscience, Japan, and University of California San Francisco, USA. In 2006, he joined Fujita Health University (FHU) as Associate Professor and was appointed Professor and Chair at Neurosurgery in 2010. Since April 2025, he has been Dean of the School of Medicine, FHU. He chaired the 2017 Annual Meeting of the Asian Society for Neuro-Oncology and currently serves as the President of the Japan Society for Neuro-Oncology.
