Experimental Facilities Related to Tsunamis and Waves
The two-dimensional wave making and backflow channel measures 50m long, 0.6m wide and 1.2m deep. Tsunami waves can also be generated.
Propagation and Inundation Analysis
The run-up inundation and the effectiveness of countermeasure at the target point can be inspected by analyzing the propagation of tsunami from the epicenter to the target point.
High Accuracy Inundation Analysis
The effect of protecting facilities on reducing the damages can be evaluated by analyzing the height of tsunami and flooded area.
