The 25th JADM in 2019 is set in my hometown, Kobe, which was devastated by the Great Hanshin Earthquake in 1995. The main theme of the 25th JADM is “Are we OK with Today’s Disaster Medicine!?” Though there surely has been a lot of progress in disaster management in Japan, we still have many problems to solve.
As you are aware, the number of disasters and their victims has increased, especially in the Asia-Pacific region. We welcome all professionals from all regions of this globe struggling for better disaster management to participate in the 25th JADM. Official language of the meeting is Japanese, but we are planning to have an English session (Oral/Poster) to exchange international experience and knowledge with overseas colleagues. We look forward to hearing about your research and seeing you at the 25th Annual Meeting of Japanese Association for Disaster Medicine.
