Announcement on the Hybrid Meeting of
the 79th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Cancer Association (JCA 2020)

The 79th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Cancer Association (JCA 2020) will be held as a Hybrid Meeting (on-site and online) due to the following two perspectives;
“preventing infection and ensuring participants’ safety” and
“providing more fulfilling academic presentation and information exchange”.

We will hold the Meeting under the following three policies;

1)

The number of participants on-site will be limited (less than 1/3 of usual).

2)

Oral / Poster Presentation will be presented only online.
On-site Overseas Lectures are cancelled.

3)

The opportunity to obtain more academic information through online distribution
(live streaming & on-demand) will be offered.

The Meeting will be held from October 1 (Thu) – 3 (Sat), 2020 as scheduled. It will be available on-demand until October 31 (Sat), 2020.
The Main Program will be basically held on-site, and also will be delivered as live streaming. However, some of the Main Program and Oral / Poster Presentation will be presented only online (using PowerPoint presentation slides with audio). Q&A function will be prepared.
On-site Overseas Lectures have been unfortunately cancelled, however, we plan to have their lectures online (on-demand or live streaming).
We will send more details to each chair and speaker.

In addition, we plan to have Online Exhibition.
